Manage your purchasing by setting the frequency

    you call on your vendors

For the most part we assume that your vendors don't change all that often and you have a set ordering cycle with them. In any situation there will be exceptions to the rules but generally you should try and stick to a schedule and use the system to help you manage that schedule. 

When to call? 
How much do i need?

The MDS System answers these questions by using our inventory management module and with the enhancement allowing for a specific day of the week or a date each month it's now even easier to update and track your vendor purchases. 


The Frequency code is setup by vendor and is used to the determine when each of these vendors will be included in the automatic purchase order generation process. The frequency can represent on or more days of the week or days of the month. There is a separate maintenance procedure used to identify all the options. if left blank the vendor will always be included in the the automatic purchase order generation process

Copy a quote or template to share between clients

Here is the concept on this update to the MDS system. how often  do customers buy the same type of stuff. when you do a quote for one type of customer can you reuse it for other's, or at least reuse parts of it?

MDS Offers many quick ways to create orders but two simple examples are the ability to create a template for easy ordering and take a quote and convert it.

Template and Quote Duplication

Offers the ability to copy a quote from 
customer to customer and re-price

Ability to copy a quote from 
      one shipping location to alternate shipping locations


This gives you the flexibility to copy any existing sales order or quote to a new customer and re-price it using the new customers special pricing rules. Instead of asking for the order , as for the re-orders - tell them what others have bought and increase those ever important cross-sell and up-sell opportunistic sales..
