Many option's exist in the MDS system to either drop ship, cross dock, special order or alternate location ship products.. but in the event your customer needs it and you don't have it and can't get it right away - with the the update MDS Fill/Kill logic you can now gain visibility in real time to killed orders and send EDI acknowledgements to customer in real time advising them the items are out of stock and will not be shipping..
Save time , money, and frustration as the system will now manage the process of alerting the customer and making sure you dont order items that they will not accept..
nBased upon flag in Customer file (Accept backorder y/n)
nMDS now shows you the Killed quantity in the Cancel quantity
nIf the order has no open lines it will be marked as completed without additional review
